Esquire's had a great atmosphere. It was an older building with dim lighting. The bar and dining area were separated. With the dining room surrounded with windows. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience any of that because we were put in the back room, since we were a larger group. The view of the gas station out the window wasn't very exciting. The room was bland and boring. There was one other large group in there with us, but they left before we were done. And there was ketchup and fries on the floor from another party. And I had to keep stepping around it.

They have a large menu full of steaks, seafood, chicken, and sandwiches. All moderately priced as expected. I think they had one of the largest menus I've seen, compared to all the other supper clubs I've visited. I don't know if that's a pro or con, you can decide for yourself. I was really impressed with their daily specials. Usually one or two entrees are on special, but they have several choices every day. And thankfully, Saturday was their prime rib specials!!
Our server was good, very attentive and on top of his service. Almost everyone in the group ordered one of the Saturday night specials....it was A LOT of food. Soup, Bread, Salad Bar, Meat, and Potatoes. Talk about getting your moneys worth!

Skyler - New York Strip Sandwich & Fries. The sandwich didn't come with soup and salad. Skyler thought it was yummy! |

David - Chopped Steak with mushrooms and baked potato. He gave it a 9 out of 10. |

Megan - Corned Beef Sandwich with Fries. This also didn't come with soup and salad. And as a plus, she gave me her pickles! |

Laurie - Shrimp and Hashbrowns |

Ruth - Steak St. John. It's a sirloin with mushrooms, shrimp, asparagus, and hollandaise sauce. She also had loaded mashed potatoes. Ruth said it was all done nicely, but she took a lot of it home. |

I had the Queen Prime Rib with a baked potato. I finally got a cut of meat without tons of fat, so that made me happy. |

Serena - Queen Prime Rib with Shrimp and loaded mashed potatoes. Again, it was just way too much food. Rich also had the prime rib and shrimp special. He also mentioned the nice cut of meat. |
And if that wasn't enough food to shove down our throats, we also ordered ice cream drinks. But that's because we had to evaluate those as well. We ordered Grasshoppers and Pink Squirrels.
Overall the food was delicious. Some of the best entrees we've had lately. Most of us got a second meal out of it too, which is never a bad thing. Just wish we had been in the actual dining room. That's what would've made this visit perfect. Let's see how the grading scale compares.
